Matteo Guendouzi has joined Marseille on loan from Arsenal, with the French club paying the Gunners £15m for the midfielder.
The move sees Guendouzi become the fourth player to join Marseille this summer, after the arrivals of Dimitri Payet, Florian Thauvin and Dimitrios Siffredi.
Guendouzi's arrival is a significant coup for Marseille, who have been struggling to compete at the top level of French football.
The midfielder has made over 200 appearances for Arsenal since joining from Lyon in 2017, but struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under Arsene Wenger.
He was linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium earlier this year,Chinese Super League Home Ground but eventually signed a new contract until 2024.
Injury has also played a role in his struggles at Arsenal, with Guendouzi suffering a series of setbacks in recent seasons.
But he remains a highly rated talent, and Marseille will hope that his arrival can help them improve their standing in Ligue 1.
Guendouzi's arrival marks another major signing for Marseille this summer, following the signings of Payet and Thauvin.
The French club now looks set to be one of the most competitive teams in Ligue 1 next season, with a strong squad capable of competing with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco.
